Skilled labour often lack fundamental skills and knowledge of working on a farm and may also run the risk of being exploited by rogue operators. The Green Card endorsement is a statement of competency to ensure workers are trained and skilled, and farmers are aware of their obligations.

Thomas, as National Sales Director for Mattina Fresh worked his way up the ranks spurred on by his vast experience in working among his strawberry farming family. He worked weekends at the Richmond Market and later as the avocado category manager for LaManna Group. He is a rising force in retailing, marketing, and production in the fruit and veg industry.
David Zahlan

David's eclectic view of business comes from his past experiences. Most recently as co-owner of Alexanders Fruit Market Oakleigh and success in the construction industry from design, building, and owning a large facade company for many years. He was named one of LinkedIn's Top Voices for 2020.
Tom Valcanis

Tom is a communications specialist, proprietor of Melbourne copywriting firm I Sell Words and former freelance journalist. He was Marketing and Communications Officer for the .au Domain Administration Ltd. from 2012-2014. His academic background and real world experience makes him NFEA's "secret weapon."
